About Me

Meet Jodie Lim, the artist behind durianne art with a passion for stationary and zines. She is a Los Angeles based creator who lives with little white dogs, Sunny and Hobbes. She opened her shop in 2019 and decided to focus her attention on it fulltime in 2024, but has been an artist all her life.

Jodie loves to connect culture and community through her art, which you can see by taking a look through her zines, especially the Sino-Burmese cooking zines she created with her father, Nelson. 

One of her long-time philosophies emphasizes sustainability and mindfulness with an importance of thoughtful creation. Many of her works and much of her packaging is made with recyclable materials. You can learn more about her sustainability pledge here.
